Just saw the Zimmer vs Williams concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London last month. The Zimmer stuff was just awful compared to the orchestral masterpieces that Williams writes. You need to synths and other stuff to make his simplistic stuff work. Anyway, it was a great concert. Now I’m back in LA and taking my bf to the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday to see Williams there. Been going for decades to that and this will be my BFs third year in a row going to it.
