  1. Movie idea, Winnie da Poeh. Its about a drug addict bare trying to make it in a bigger company with his friends a pig, owl, and rabbit and get it but Winnie has to hide his heroin in hunny to make it

  2. I always hated public domain. My belief is that it should be available to use the thing after the character/company/creator has been dead or defunct for a few years

  3. Corporations can no longer buy politicians and do shady stuff because of the connected world everyone would know etc… yeah well, about that… points at everything

  4. Rarely have I ever thought this, despite being on the right side of the political aisle, but go republicans. I'd love to see all these characters finally enter public domain.

  5. Thanks matpat you've really made me understand about copyrights, trademarks and the public domain. I'm beginning to see how things work just right after you explained them

  6. Aye but copying these dweebs is SO LAME. Are people really going to STILL be going on about these same old tedious characters and worlds until the end of time? BORING. Make something NEW…

  7. Dude Peter Pan is already a horror story.
People, both his victim children and the audience, can be tricked by him, and his stories of neverland. But he is a demon that lures children away from their parents until they become "lost boys"

  8. i worked for a pizza place called green lantern and they actually beat DC comics in court for the use of the name but we legally are not allowed to wear the green lantern corp. logos while working tho its kinda weird

  9. Modern copyright law is a complete and utter joke; it shouldn't even exist, but if it does, it should only extend for 7 years after the work was created (or maybe published)… copyright literally exists to monopolize content by corporations. People need to rally against copyright. it is monopolistic and parasitic. Modern copyright law serves to massively syphon money to corporations from everyone else; it stifles creativity and does the exact opposite of what 'copyright' is supposed to do.
